Background
In 2003 WorldReach helped the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs modernize their systems to better facilitate increasing workload, new standards for assistance to arrested nationals, and the need for up-to-the-minute data for consular management information. The resulting work led to a new consular case management system for prisoners abroad as well as a crisis system that was used by the Netherlands in their term for the EU Presidency during both the 2004 Summer Olympics and the Asian Tsunami.
